Epic Flow: Why the Best Practice Happens Off the Mat
Ditch the Walls, Find the Water
There’s a specific kind of magic that happens when you take a disciplined practice and throw it into an unpredictable environment. In the studio, the floor is steady. The air is controlled. Your focus is internal.
But out on the water? Everything changes.
On Saturday, June 6th, we are heading to Lake Natoma (Black Miner’s Bar) for a 5-hour, high-energy immersion led by our co-founder, Nick Clark. This isn’t a leisurely float; it’s a session designed to shake up your routine, test your balance, and sharpen your mental game.
The Game Plan: Movement, Grit, and Real Talk
This immersion is built to challenge you physically while giving your brain the "reboot" it’s been craving. Here’s how we’re spending the morning:
The Morning Reset: We start with a grounded meditation on the boards. No forced stillness—just you, the water, and the morning rhythm. It’s about getting your head right before the work begins.
The SUP Yoga Flow: Even if you’ve never touched a paddleboard, this session is for you. We’ve designed a solid, intentional flow specifically for the lake. It’s part strength, part balance, and a lot of not taking yourself too seriously. When the "floor" moves, your focus has to be absolute.
The Deep Dive (Inquiry): We aren't here for small talk. We’re using the fresh air and the space of the lake to dive into guided inquiry. We’re cutting through the mental clutter to get clear on what’s actually driving you.
Why You Need This
Most of us spend our lives in boxes—our houses, our cars, our offices, and yes, even our studio. Stepping onto a board forces a different kind of presence. It rewards your focus and keeps you on your toes (literally). You’ll leave the lake feeling recharged, clear-headed, and ready for whatever is next.

Space on the water is limited, and we want to make sure the Pack gets in early. Whether you have your own gear or need a full setup, we’ve got you covered.
