107 Yogis on the Water: Making California History at The Big Splash

Have you ever looked out at Lake Natoma and wondered what happens when over a hundred people drop into a single flow together on paddleboards?

This past month at the PaddleSplash Water Festival, we found out. Partnering with Visit Folsom and Choose Folsom, Spotted Dog Yoga & SUP hosted the largest SUP Yoga class ever put on in the entire state of California! 107 yogis took to the water right below the iconic Rainbow Bridge for an epic, sunset flow like no other.

As we were wrapping up our practice on the water, a curated multi-course dinner prepared by top regional chefs was gathering above us on the bridge to celebrate Folsom’s 80th year of cityhood—creating an unforgettable, vibrant atmosphere both on the water and across the town.

Paddling with Purpose

While making state history on the water was incredible, the real heart of this event was giving back. PaddleSplash is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Nor Cal SUP Groms, an organization that provides vital water safety education and access for foster and at-risk youth.

  • Community Impact: All proceeds went directly toward local youth outreach programs provided by Nor Cal SUP Groms.

  • Bold Energy: 107 paddlers flowing, laughing, and testing their balance together.

  • Local Love: Honoring Folsom’s community, celebrating 80 years of cityhood, and supporting an incredible cause.

Thank you to everyone who came out, brought their bold spirit, and proved once again that when the Pack steps up, we make history together.

Play Hard. Love Big. Move Bold. Live Spotted.
