Every studio has a founder story. Ours has four legs.
Before there was a studio on Bidwell Street, before there was a Baptiste affiliate in Folsom, before there were a hundred-plus yogis floating on Lake Natoma — there was a dog. Bandit. And a love for him deep enough to build a whole world around.
That isn't decoration. It's the blueprint.
Born From a Dog, Built for a Pack
Dogs don't negotiate with their joy. They don't postpone the walk until the conditions are ideal. They show up — fully, immediately, tail-first — and the room gets better for it.
That's the standard we hold the studio to. Bring your whole self, rough edges and all. The pack handles the rest.
A Special Exception for Heroes
Pups don't usually roam our regular classes — but we make a very special exception for heroes.
Earlier this month, Haley Smith led Yoga & Pups with the therapy dogs of The Paw Platoon — trained canine companions providing emotional support, PTSD assistance, and dedicated service to our local first responders. One hundred percent of proceeds went directly to Hearts 4 Heroes USA.
That's Bandit's legacy in action. And all October, the Spotted Hearts Challenge keeps the mission moving — check in, move daily, every dollar to Hearts 4 Heroes USA.
Four legs, zero filters, the entire reason the pack exists.
Move Bold. Live Spotted.
Move for something bigger than a workout. Join the Spotted Hearts Challenge this October — a $10 minimum donation, and every class supports Hearts 4 Heroes USA. Then book your next class and bring the whole pack with you.
